In this presentation we will discuss Motor Trade Insurance (with reference to Combined Motor Trader Policy covers). Garages come in all shapes and sizes, ranging from the large purpose main dealers with beautiful premises to the one-person operation working from a side street. All of these have individual insurance needs. We will start this presentation with an exploration of Material Damage, Business Interruption and Employers Liability covers and how they apply to the Motor Trade.

The presentation will then discuss motor risks and liability exposures, in particular Motor Trade Road Risk, Motor Trade Internal Risks Insurance, Public & Products Liability Insurance. These covers are unique to the motor trade and need special covers, terms and conditions depending on the type of business.

Finally, we will consider some other covers that are available under the Combined Motor Trader Policy, which includes Commercial Legal Protection, Personal Accident, Professional Indemnity & Directors and Officers
