Royal London Ireland January Webinar

Mon Jan 6 2025

We hope you can join our one-hour CPD-accredited webinar on Tuesday, 14 January at 11am, where you’ll hear about an Irish and global economic outlook as well as an update on Multi-Asset for 2025. Register here to attend.

One-hour CPD-accredited webinar:

Topics:
  • Irish economic update: How strong is the Irish economy today and will domestic inflation damage it?; Will the public finances remain healthy and how much is it safe for the Government to spend? Could changes in US policy derail the Irish economy? Where next for the Irish property market? Why is Irish household savings so strong and consumer sentiment so sour?
  • Global economic update and outlook: Business surveys look consistent with moderate positive global growth heading into 2025. That masks different country and regional stories with the US looking robust and Europe less so.
  • Multi-Asset outlook: US equity and credit valuations are stretched but we continue to see good opportunities for global investors given the prospects for a dis-inflationary recovery in the world economy in 2025. Geopolitical risk remains high, however, with wars raging in Eastern Europe and the Middle East and Trump back in the White House. We continue to believe in broad diversification and active management to control risks in a fast changing world.
  • Q&A
Date and time: Tuesday, 14 January @ 11am – 12pm
Presented by:
  • Austin Hughes, Irish Economist
  • Melanie Baker, Senior Economist, Royal London Asset Management
  • Trevor Greetham, Head of Multi-Asset, Royal London Asset Management
  • Joe Charles, Proposition Director, Royal London Ireland
CPD: One-hour CPD accreditation from the LIA, III and IOB is pending approval.
