Meet the Presenters

Jack Fennell

Jack has over 16 years’ experience working in the Insurance industry having started his career in DAS Legal Expenses Ltd. in 2009, he held various roles within the business eventually becoming a Business Development Executive in 2013. In 2015 he moved to the RAC to take up the role as an Account Manager where he managed some large portfolios across both the UK & Ireland. Following this he took up a role as a Business Development Specialist with Liberty Insurance in Dublin and was responsible for the management of a large broker panel across Dublin and Leinster.

Jack has been part of the Ornella Management Team since May 2021 when he took up the role of Broker Sales Manager and brings a wealth of Broker Relations experience to the business across both Personal and Commercial Lines. With effect from April 1st, 2024, Jack has moved in to our executive management team as our Head of Trading. As Head of Trading Jack is responsible for providing leadership and structure to the Trading functions of the business, to achieve growth and profitability plans, while delivering the highest standards in terms of Underwriting, Service and Compliance.

Gary Curran

Gary has been a dedicated professional in the insurance industry since 1998, beginning his career with AIG. In 2008, he moved to QBE, where he specialised in motor fleet insurance, further honing his expertise in the field. Gary continued to build on his experience when he joined Liberty Insurance in 2013 as a Senior Underwriter for motor fleet, where he successfully managed a variety of complex underwriting portfolios. In July 2021, Gary brought his extensive technical knowledge and industry experience to Ornella, taking on the role of Senior Technical Underwriter. With a strong background in motor fleet underwriting, Gary continues to play a key role in shaping the company’s underwriting strategy.
